Alarms

Our signature two-phase alarm wakes you up gently and gradually. The first tune will play at your selected alarm time to pull you out of slumber. Nine minutes later, a more energizing alarm will get you out of bed. 

1. Navigate to ALARMS in the clock’s main menu 

2. Create a New Alarm: Select NEW and set the time using arrow buttons and the circular button.



3. Choose Alarm Type: Select if it’s a one-time or repeat alarm. For repeat, choose the days.



4. Confirm: Press DONE to save the alarm.

In the alarm list, when you see a checked box next to an alarm time that means it’s set.

You will also be able to see the next alarm time displayed on the lower-left corner of Loftie’s clock face.

  • To turn your alarm off in the morning simply press the select button. If you’d like to snooze a bit longer, simply hit the long snooze button. 
  • Navigate to "Alarms" Then scroll over and select "Settings" There you will see Get Up and Wake Up options. Choose which you'd like to change. Tones will play previews as you scroll down the menu.

Bed Signal

The Bed Signal acts as your accountability buddy, letting you know when it’s time to wind down for the night with a gentle light and calming tune. Set this in advance and stick to a consistent routine throughout your entire stay. 

  1. Navigate to SETTINGS in the clock’s main menu
  2. Scroll down to BEDSIGNAL
  3. Set your preferred wind-down start time (this should be at least 30-60 minutes before you want to fall asleep)
  • You can confirm the Bed Signal is turned on when a crescent moon displays in the top right corner of your clock screen. 
  • You can dismiss the Bed Signal by pressing any button either during or after the lullaby has played.

Explore The Loftie Audio Library

Relax with an extensive library of calming tracks and science-backed sleep sounds - ranging from mediations and breathwork to brown noise and nature sounds. All completely unique and 100% free for you to explore!

  1. Navigate to SOUNDS or PLAYLISTS in the clock’s main menu
  2. Scroll down and hover to preview each sound
  3. Select your preferred soundtrack  
  • All sounds are looping tracks and will play indefinitely, while all playlists have a set duration of play.  
  • Once you’ve selected your preferred sound, simply press the round select button to play and pause at your convenience. 

Customize Loftie for your ultimate rest

Loftie has two separate volume controls-- one for alarms and one for other sounds. So if you like a loud alarm but a soft white noise, we got you!

Here’s how to adjust both:

Main Volume: Press and hold down one of the arrow buttons to bring up the volume control, adjust it from there by clicking the arrow in the preferred direction.

Alarm Volume:  

  1. Navigate to ALARMS in the clock settings menu
  2. Scroll down to SETTINGS and select VOLUME 
  3. Adjust your alarms volume to your preferred level 

Keep your room completely dark while you sleep. Blackout mode allows you to turn off all light from your clock, including from both your night light and clock face. Easily turn this setting on and off with one button.

How: Hold down the oval snooze button for three seconds and the clock face will black out completely. Press any button to turn the clock face back on.

If you prefer to have some light while you sleep or wake up in the middle of the night, try the gentle night light 

How: Press the oval snooze button to turn on and off the nightlight.

Listen to your favorite soundtracks all night or set them to turn off with the Sleep Timer. This feature allows you to set a duration for playing sound tracks. Choose from 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and sleep in silence once you’ve drifted off.

How:

  1. Scroll to SETTINGS in the main menu
  2. Scroll down and select SLEEP TIMER
  3. Select your duration. Whatever sound playing on Loftie will stop after that set amount of time.
